Cagayan Vice Mayor Drew Flak Online Over Remarks Against Leni Robredo
Cagayan Vice Mayor Randy Cambe drew flak online after a snippet of his no-vote remarks against presidential aspirant Leni Robredo goes viral.
The vice mayor of Lasam, Cagayan, seemed to have slipped or purposefully misread his reply to a netizen. He explained to a netizen why Vice President Leni Robredo should not be re-elected.

A screenshot of a netizen’s comment is now spreading on social media, stating: “Ang ibang pulitiko Takot na takot kay Leni dahil kapag siya ang mamuno kahit piso wala na silang maibulsa galing sa pera ng bayan! Transparency and Accountability”
In that comment, Cambe replied “Korek kaya huwag iboto si Leni… kay BBM [Bongbong Marcos] tayo!”
Cambe’s broad statement, on the other hand, has been chastised by netizens. The online community has expressed various reactions towards his statement. Netizens claimed that he appears to have conceded that Robredo should not be elected because he had nothing to pocket from the town’s fund.
Cambe, on the other hand, has already removed such a comment. In addition, the Facebook post to which the netizen reacted which was then replied to by the vice mayor was also deleted.
