And just previously, friends of James threw a “Despedida” party for him. He was bound to the US and such a move has ignited various speculations. Is he staying there for good? Did he receive an international offer?
Finally speaking up is the father of the actor who shared some of the real reasons why he’s going to Los Angeles. Malcolm Reid shared a photo of him with his son in the airport, just right before he flew, and wrote in the caption lambasting the fake news circulating online, “On his way to LA for recording sessions and to visit his brother Andrew. That’s it. Anything else is basura … sorry to disappoint the fake newsmakers.”
Meanwhile, amid the speculations of his leaving, Cristy Fermin expressed her opinion about the actor in her radio program. Accordingly, his move to leave Viva affected his career so much. Accordingly, the actor could have been more mindful, practical, and more approachable to his fans.
Fermin said, “Sayang, sinayang niya ‘yung pagkakataon. Ang ganda-ganda ng takbo ng loveteam nila ni Nadine Lustre.”
Before leaving, James has put his house in Loyola Grand Villas on sale. It costs over Php 80 million.
