Man Runs Amok in Tagum Mall After Depressed for Failing to Lose Weight
Man in Tagum City runs amok and alleged stabbed personnel in a mall after he went depressed for failing to lose weight.
After a rage in a mall in Tagum City, Davao del Norte, a 26-year-old man was slain by police. The enraged man is accused of stabbing a mall promoter and a security officer, according to the report.

Jayson Torredo, a resident of Purok 8 Barangay Poblacion Mawab Davao de Oro, was identified as the suspect. The Tagum Police Chief told KAMM Media Network that the suspect went on a rampage after grabbing a displayed knife on the third level of the Gaisano Mall.
Sherwin Bustamante, 23, was the first victim of the incident. According to the authorities, security officer Ronald Costan, 45, was also laid on the ground when he was wounded in the incident.
The suspect’s father, according to the same source, was depressed after failing to reduce weight despite strict eating and exercise. The father had only intended to take his kid for a walk in the mall when he vanished from view till he took the knife and stabbed him.
According to the story, the police shot a round into the guy, who was still roaming around the mall with a knife, to neutralize him. On arriving at the Davao Del Norte Regional Hospital, the suspect died. Ronald’s condition is improving, while Sherwin’s remains critical.
