Diego Loyzaga has finally talked about his breakup with Barbie Imperial
Kapamilya actor Diego Loyzaga made revelations about the family of actress Barbie Imperial, his former girlfriend, after a month of being silent.
Late last year, intrigues have been thrown at the relationship of Barbie and Diego. Early this year, rumors surfaced that they already ended their relationship. Eventually, Barbie confirmed that they are no longer together.
Diego left the country and many thought that it was a sort of a soul-searching journey for him. He clarified in a previous interview that it is not the case.
Talking to The Philippine Star entertainment columnist MJ Marfori, the actor shared how he was dealing with the family of Barbie Imperial when they were together. Diego Loyzaga revealed that he was close with the family of his former girlfriend.
“Yung pamilya ni Barbie at si Barbie naging parte ng buhay ko, buhay ng pamilya ko. Her mom, her brothers, her cousins. Titos and titas and all of that I respect. I have nothing bad to say, especially kasi alam ko na kahit anong sabihin ko meron at meron masasabi ang tao,” he said.
Previously, Barbie also said that she and Diego broke up with no hatred towards each other. They still consider each other as friends.
Although Diego did not elaborate on the reason for their breakup that sprouted from miscommunication, he said that he could do better. He was referring to his relationship with Barbie.
Until now, the actor still considers Barbie and her family a big part of his life. “I am not perfect to be honest. I just wish her the best and her family the best. Minahal ko silang lahat,” Diego Loyzaga said.
