CLOY fans are head over heels in love as RiRi couple, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin announced their engagement.
HYUN BIN – South Korea superstars and CLOY lead actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are marrying each other for real.
Yoon Se-Ri and Ri Jeong-hyeok, also known as the RiRi couple of hit South Korean series “Crash Landing On You” are played by Korean superstars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin. Their chemistry on and off the camera is just too strong to be neglected. And right after their series ended, rumors about them dating for real, and just last January 1, 2021, they finally confirmed being in a relationship.
And last Thursday, RiRi couple made a double announcement – announcing their relationship and announcing that they are getting married soon. The Crash Landing On You stars gleefully shared this good news with their fans. They also did not fail to express their gratitude to them for their support and love.
Son Ye-jin shared the news through her Instagram while Hyun Bin shared the news with a handwritten note via his agency, VAST. The actress shared a photo of a tiny wedding dress on her Instagram account and expressed, “I found someone to spend the rest of my life with. Yes… it’s him. Boy meets girl, recognizes each other in the crowd, promises to build a future together… I couldn’t imagine!”
And as for Hyun Bin, a photo of his hand holding her hand was posted along with his handwritten note. The post of his agency lacked English translation but this is what it accordingly said as per Soompi:
“Hello, this is Hyun Bin. Is everyone doing well? I am writing this because I wanted to let my fans, who have shown me such enormous support and love and cherished me despite my flaws, know first about this most important decision of my life. Probably many of you have guessed, right? It’s true. I have made the important decision of marriage and am cautiously taking steps toward the second stage of my life. I have made this promise with the woman who always makes me laugh (Son Ye Jin): to always walk together in the days that lie ahead. The ‘Jung Hyuk and Se Ri’ who were together in the drama will take the first step together in that future. I believe that people will rejoice and celebrate our first steps together with the same affection and warmth that you have shown us so far. Until we can meet in person again, please stay happy and healthy.”
In the hit K-drama series, Hyun Bin played the character who is a member of the North Korean military, while Son Ye-jin was this successful South Korean heiress and businesswoman. She crash-landed North Korea because of the strong winds that came when she went paragliding. Their characters fell in love and so did they in real life.
