US Embassy Tagged by Saab Magalona Quiboloy’s Post with Sara Duterte

Actress and singer Saab Magalona has tagged the US Embassy in the post of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy praying over Sara Duterte.

Saab Magalona shared a few of images of Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, the founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) church, praying over Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio and her entourage on her Twitter account. The artist, on the other hand, has tagged the US Embassy in the Philippines.

The celebrity retweeted photographs that were first uploaded on the Philippine Star’s Twitter feed on February 1. The photographs were shot at Mayor Sara’s Mahalin Natin Ang Pilipinas Ride send-off ceremony, according to the media outlet.

In her retweet, Saab tagged the US Embassy in the Philippines with a simple greeting.  “Hi @USEmbassyPH,” Saab’s retweet read.

It’s unclear why Saab chose the US Embassy as a target, but it’s worth noting that the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) just issued a wanted poster for Pastor Quiboloy. The wanted poster served as a reminder to the public of the KOJC founder’s alleged wrongdoings on US territory.

In its wanted poster, the FBI also invited everyone to contact them if they had any information regarding the whereabouts of the KJC founder. The pastor has condemned the poster’s publication and claims that he is being persecuted by the agency.

On the other hand, his legal team believes the release of the wanted poster is ill-timed and has something to do with the upcoming elections. The US embassy later denied the allegations made by Ptr Quiboloy’s legal team, saying that the poster’s release was not related to the election and was the result of a multi-year investigation by the agency.
