Rita Avila talked to Boy Abunda after the interview with VP Leni Robredo
Actress Rita Avila revealed the conversation she had with King of Talk Boy Abunda after the latter’s presidential interview with Vice President Leni Robredo.
To recall, Rita called out Boy for the “interruption” that he did while the Vice President was answering the question. The Instagram post of the actress regarding this received various reactions from netizens.
There were those who supported the comment of Rita while some slammed her for posting against the seasoned TV host. In her recent Instagram posts, the actress shared she talked to King of Talk and their friendship prevailed over the issue.
“For the longest time, Boy and I have been friends though we do not see each other often. We are both outspoken and honest, yet, we can still respect each other even if we say dissenting comments or otherwise about relevant issues,” Rita Avila said.
She shared that she reached out to Boy Abunda and the latter returned the respect she showed. “In his appreciation for my trust, we promised to remain as good friends in this kind of world,” the actress added.
In another post, the actress shared a screenshot of the comment she shared on the post of singer Richard Poon, a known supporter of presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos. The singer shared this post of the actress with the caption: “WE PROMISED TO REMAIN AS GOOD FRIENDS. Beautiful gesture.”
In the comment section, Rita Avila addressed the supporters of BBM saying that Boy Abunda did not see anything wrong with her reaction to the interview with VP Leni. She clarified that she was not afraid to speak her mind because she knows that the seasoned host is open to this kind of comment.
