Leni Robredo answered these question about the President’s statement
Vice President Leni Robredo reacted to the “mahina sa diskarte” remark of President Rodrigo Duterte against her.
It is a fact that the President and the Vice President are saying things against each other many times already. Their supporters are also engaging in word wars for their defense and attack the other side.
In a recently uploaded presidential interview on King of Talk Boy Abunda’s YouTube channel, the Vice President was asked about a particular statement that the President had against her.
The seasoned host cited a speech of the Chief executive saying that she is “mahina sa diskarte.” VP Leni Robredo said that “diskarte” can be seen in action and not just in words.
She also gave her definition of this word saying that it is the ability to find ways and do things on a daily basis despite the difficulties. The Vice President stressed that over the years, amid the difficulties and the roadblocks that were placed in front of her, she was able to surpass them all, and this was because of “diskarte.”
“In many, many instances, I can cite a few, pag merong sakuna, merong krisis, sino ba yung unang nasa ground? Kami,” the presidential aspirant said.
She cited that during the Marawi siege and many typhoons and earthquakes, her team was there. VP Leni Robredo also said that when the position to lead the Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD), many people told her to not accept this because it was just a “trap”. However, she said that she saw that as an opportunity to make a difference.
In the same interview, the Vice President also enumerated the reasons why voters should not vote for other presidential candidates.
