Here’s what Sue Ramirez said about Zanjoe Marudo
Kapamilya actress Sue Ramirez revealed something about her The Broken Marriage Vow leading man Zanjoe Marudo.
Sue is portraying the character of the other woman of Zanjoe’s character while Jodi Sta. Maria is portraying the wife. In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Sue shared that Zanjoe has always been her “happy crush”.
She used the emotion in portraying her role in the new Kapamilya series. She said that the actor has known about this already. “I haven’t changed. He’s still one of my crushes. Z (Zanjoe’s nickname) knows this. I’ve already worked with him in Ana Lisa, where he played my brother so I’m used to calling him ‘kuya,’” the 25-year-old actress said.
Sue Ramirez also shared that in this series, as her role is the mistress, the actor told him not to him “kuya” anymore. “He also said that I should now stop crushing on him because I’m not a teenager anymore. He’s right, I’m already 25, but I still consider him my happy crush,” the actress added.
The actress admitted that she has always been shy around her crushes and so at the beginning, she had a hard time channeling the mistress Lexy character. On this aspect, their director Connie Macatuno helped her.
“Emotions are really hard to ignore. Because Z is my longtime crush, I needed to channel those emotions,” she shared. Sue added that she needed to let that “gigil” feeling manifest along with a little spice and “rawr”.
“Emotions are really hard to ignore. Because Z is my longtime crush, I needed to channel those emotions,” she said. Sue Ramirez also shared that she did not have the hard time doing intimate scenes with Zanjoe Marudo. It is because the actor took care of her. The actress said that her leading man did some adjustment if she was having uncomfortable moments while doing the scenes.
