Here’s what Derek Ramsay said about being a father to Elias with John Lloyd Cruz.
DEREK RAMSAY – Male actors Derek Ramsay and John Lloyd Cruz are the fathers of Elias and this is how they deal with this kind of situation.
John Lloyd Cruz is the biological father of Elias, the son of actress Ellen Adarna. They’ve had him while they were still together but unfortunately, their relationship did not work out. Despite the falling apart, the two were mature enough to settle in a co-parenting set-up. Ellen believes that her son would need his father just as much as he would need her as a mother.
And now that he is married to Derek Ramsay, Elias, a lucky boy, just found himself two actors for a father. Derek is his stepfather and the little boy is very close to him. Ramsay once expressed in an interview that Llloydie is a good father. And just recently, speaking about their situation now that he and Ellen are now married, he revealed that nothing much has changed.
For his part, he is teaching Elias some sports because he really loves to eat. And when it comes to John Lloyd, he said they’re pretty civil towards each other. He expressed, “Civil kami. We’re working together for the best interest of Elias. Walang problema dun.”
Accordingly, it is John Lloyd who goes to their house personally to fetch Elias.
Meanwhile, according to PEP’s article, Derek and Ellen decided to cancel their honeymoon to Africa with Elias because of the pandemic. The numbers are increasing which they fear and also, they fear that if this continues and they’re still going to push through their plan, they might get stuck. They are aware of the possible changes the government may implement when this increase in cases continues.
