The COVID-19 cases in some cities outside Metro Manila also climbed following the holiday season. The authorities now are boosting the vaccination efforts and are encouraging the public to get jabbed.
Several known personalities in the different fields contracted COVID-19. Among them are celebrity couple Iya Villania and Drew Arellano.
Iya and Drew are isolated from their children as they fight against COVID-19. They are under home isolation now. Their three (3) kids – Primo, Leon, and Alana, are taken cared of by their nannies. The TV host previously stressed the struggle in not being able to comfort her daughter when she’s crying as she wanted to get near to her.
Recently, Iya Villania shared that their son Leon also got infected with COVID-19. She and Drew Arellano are still isolating themselves and their 3-year-old son had joined them and as well as one of their household yayas who also got infected with the virus.
In a social media post, Iya stressed the struggle on the situation caused by the COVID-19 infection. The positives have to be separated from the negatives and the positives who are under isolation will go back to Day 1 in case there is a new positive that joins the side.
According to Iya, Leon already tested negative twice in antigen tests and they have also decided to let him join the clean side. Amid the struggles, the Kapuso TV host is thankful to God that she and Drew got sick first so they are already on their way to recovery in case any of their kids would also get sick.
