Corrupt Employees Stealing Goods From Fire Victims Caught on Camera
The video footage of corrupt employees caught stealing goods from the victims of fire in Zapote elicits reactions from the online community.
The Facebook page “Philippines CCTV & DASH CAM Spotted” has shared the video footage of corrupt employees storing stolen goods inside the firetruck. The post immediately spread like a wildfire online and garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the video, it can be seen that the guy who was filming the incident is confronting some government personnel inside the firetruck for storing stolen goods. The goods were allegedly stolen from the fire victims.
The firetruck personnel denied the allegations and explained that the items were not stolen. The video uploader also urged the employees to take out the stolen goods from the vehicle. The goods were taken out from the truck afterwards.
The firetruck is owned by Barangay Zapote Captain Cesar T. Rubio and Council. Several corrupt workers are performing their illegal activities behind the knowledge of the barangay captain. The stolen goods contain biscuits, cheese curls, soft drinks and other consumable items.
Based on the comments, the barangay captain has a good intention and serving his constituents faithfully but the officials working under him were corrupt and taking advantage of their position.
