Police Arrest Two Male Suspects After Declaring Holdup at Gas Station Using Pellet Gun
Manaoag, Pangasinan – Two male suspects have been arrested after declaring holdup at a gasoline station using a pellet gun.
Two holduppers riding a motorcycle attacked a gasoline staion in Manaoag, Pangasinan. The suspects repeatedly went to the cashier’s booth. The two pretended as customers who need to refill their tank.
After a few moments, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and declared a holdup inside the gasoline station. The thieves took over P11, 000. The cashier’s colleagues did not notice the illegal activity.
Manaoag Police Station Chief Pmaj. Herminio Olivares said that the police authorities immediately launched a checkpoint in the area to prevent the suspects to get out of the town and escape.
The authorities has also raided the hotels in the town to locate the suspects. Eventually, the cops were able to arrest the holduppers at a videoke bar in Manaoag. The suspects have been identified as Mark Christian Velasco and Mc Nazer Brutas
“ang una kong ipinacheck ay yung ating mga hotels na possible nilang puntahan, then afterwards nung wala kaming Makita sa mga hotels na malapit dun sa possible exit, pinuntahan natin yung mga videoke bars at doon na natin sila nasupol,” Olivares said.
The police officers recover P6, 000 from the suspects. The holduppers admitted of using the cash to pay their bills at the videoke bar. The cops also recovered the weapon used for the incident.
However, the authorities found out that the weapon used for the crime was a pellet gun only. The suspects refused the give a statement regarding the incident.
