Pinoy Electrician Abandoned by Contractor, Walked for 10 Days Just to Reach Home

An electrician reportedly walked for 10 days just to reach his home in Oriental Mindoro after he was scammed by a contractor.

The personnel of Daraga police saw the 42-year-old electrician named Justine Chua walking along the road. The cops approached him and learned that is walking all the way from Sorsogon heading to Oriental Mindoro.

Chua narrated that his contractor brought him in various placed to perform construction jobs last October 2021. He worked as an electrician during the construction of fast-food chain in Sorsogon.

Unfortunately, the contractor abandoned Justine in Sorsogon before December 2021 and did not give his salary for a couple of months. He has nothing when the heartless contractor left him in the middle of nowhere.

The electrician failed to find a help and he had no mobile phone. He decided to walk just to go home for 10 days until he reach Daraga. PSSg Diane Lubiano and PCpl Melrose Ansano immediately helped him.

The poor man is carrying a huge cardboard containing his bad experiences and the hardships he had faced because of his contractor and agency.

The cops brought the exhausted guy to Albay Public Safety Management Office who gives Chua a certain amount of financial assistance he used to return to Oriental Mindoro. The police officers assist Chua up to the bus terminal.
