A netizen message John Lloyd Cruz because of paracetamol
Kapuso actor John Lloyd Cruz received a message from netizens asking him if he has paracetamol amid the reported shortage.
Reports circulated these past days about the shortage of paracetamol brands in pharmacies. Based on the report from CNN Philippines, the company Unilab said that there is indeed a shortage of flu and colds medicines like Bioflu, Neozep, and Solmux.
The said shortage of some paracetamol brands was also acknowledged by Zuellig Pharma. However, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Health (DOH) denied that there is a shortage.
Both agencies said that there is a shortage of “branded” paracetamols but there are still available generic brands in pharmacies and drug stores.
Amid this news that might bring worries to many Filipinos amid the Omicron variant, one Pinoy found a way to make this issue lighter. Based on the article in Manila Bulletin, a netizen sent a direct message on the Facebook account of John Lloyd Cruz.
The netizen asked the Kapuso actor if he has paracetamol.“Idol Popoy. Baka naman meron tayo jan Biogesic. Kahit tatlong banig lang idol. Nagkakabusan na sa mga drugs stores eh. Solid fan mo ako bro since Tabing Ilog days. Ingat!” the netizen wrote.
A few years ago, John Lloyd did a TV commercial for a popular paracetamol brand in the Philippines. His extro line in the said advertisement is “Ingat!”
Meanwhile, the new sitcom of John Lloyd Cruz in the Kapuso network, Happy ToGether, is receiving a warm welcome from the viewers. The show premiered on December 26 and from that, Lloydie, along with other cast members, will provide laughter and entertainment every Sunday night. In a previous report, it was stated that the sitcom got high ratings for its first episode.
