Ogie Diaz Expresses Reactions to Cochinillo of Marvin Agustin After Being Criticized
Showbiz columnist and talent manager Ogie Diaz has expresses his reactions towards the cochinillo of Marvin Agustin after receiving bad feedback.
The talent manager instructed the actor in his most recent showbiz vlog to repay the money of disgruntled customers of his famed cochinillo or roasted piglet. This comes after the actor-turned-businessman issued a public apology after receiving negative comments on his goods.
According to the previous article, the actor’s cochinillo was chastised online and received complaints throughout the Christmas season owing to poor service and suspected foul taste. As a result, a number of people who ordered the dish have expressed their opinions.

One of them is Ogie, who allegedly said he didn’t like the actor’s cochinillo. According to him, he tried it and joked that it appeared that they didn’t agree on the taste, implying that the entertainment reporter didn’t like the actor’s product.
“Eh, kasi naman ‘Nay, sa pagkain relative ‘yan, eh. ‘Yung masarap sa ‘yo hindi masarap sa iba, ‘yung masarap sa iba hindi masarap sa ‘yo,” said Mama Loi, her co-host.
At a birthday party, they allegedly sampled Marvin’s cochinillo. They didn’t enjoy the raw sauce since it was greasy.
So Ogie advises Marvin, “If Marvin really wants to build his dignity, his integrity and if he is really sincere in his apology, in his statement I feel Marvin should refund the payment of those who -disappointed.”
“People who expect too much from his cochinillo. Let’s see in the next few days he will update. I hope Marvin’s update is, “These are the payments we made,” he added.
Ogie advises Marvin as a chef and entrepreneur, and a restaurant owner, he should restore the trust of his customers. Meanwhile, Marvin has not yet had a new update or post on the issue, and the latest is the quote cards of his apology to disappointed customers, which he admitted to their shortcomings, due to ‘unforeseen circumstances.’
He promised that they will improve next time. Another of the celebrities who explicitly said he couldn’t bet on the taste of cochinillo and its sauce was director Darryl Yap. Meanwhile, Marvin sincerely apologized to customers who complained about his business, which can be seen in his Instagram post.
Marvin even asks for a second chance to make amends with consumers who are dissatisfied with his service. Many regrettable situations are alleged to have occurred that have hampered the production of their orders, particularly during busy days like Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
