Boy Abunda shared his public speaking knowledge to GMA talents
King of Talk Boy Abunda held a lecture for Kapuso stars in line with GMA’s aim to bring its talents to the international stage.
Tito Boy has been giving training and workshops about public speaking. Several beauty queens went through rigid workshops under him in order for them to prepare for the question and answer portion.
Based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, the seasoned talk show host was the lecturer for the third batch of the Breakout Room: Master Class Series last month with several Kapuso stars such as Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Ken Chan, Rita Daniela, Barbie Forteza, Martin Javier, Sophia Senoron, Kyline Alcantara, Luane Dy, Glaiza de Castro, Jose Sarasola, Patricia Tumulak, Gil Cuerva, Ruru Madrid, Miguel Tanfelix, Derrick Monasterio, Sanya Lopez, Ysabel Ortega, Sanya Lopez, Bianca Umali, Khalil Ramos, Gabbi Garcia, Ashley Rivera, Rocco Nacino, Arra San Agustin, Lexi Gonzales, and Rain Matienzo.
GMA executives also attended the lecture. During the event, Boy Abunda stressed that he is not teaching the attendees what they want to do but instead, he is there to help them to discover themselves and their power to tell their own story.
“I’d like to journey with you as you explore, as you examine, as you provoke your question, and most importantly, as you commit mistakes along the way. One of the best ways to learn in the talk business is to commit mistakes,” Tito Boy said.
The seasoned TV host also told the Kapuso stars not to be afraid to commit mistakes but they have to know the rules first. “I’d like to journey with you as you explore, as you examine, as you provoke your question, and most importantly, as you commit mistakes along the way. One of the best ways to learn in the talk business is to commit mistakes,” he stressed.
Reportedly, the next workshop will involve more interactive exercises. One of the things that the attendees will do is to participate in a mock interview presentation.
