Samira Gutoc Drops Hate to President Duterte Claiming She’s Not His Enemy
Senatorial aspirant Samira Gutoc has dropped her hatred towards President Rodrigo Duterte claiming she is not his enemy anymore.
The wind appears to be blowing in a new direction for Aksyon Demokratiko senate candidate Samira Gutoc. Gutoc stated she was not an opponent of President Duterte during her visit to Quezon City.

However, she now believes that President Duterte should put a halt to his schemes and goals. She also stated that what she has previously spoken to the President has caused her anguish because of her criticisms of his administration.
“So, President, I’m here as your co-Mindanaoan, I’m with Yorme at kung ano ‘yung dinadala naming ni Yorme, Bilis-Kilos. Hindi po ninyo ako kalaban Mr. President,” Gutoc said.
“Alam kong masakit ang mga nasabi ko noon pero sa inyo na tapusin natin ang dapat tapusin, bigyan natin ng health care ang dapat bigyan,” she added.
It should be noted that Gutoc has been a vocal critic of Duterte’s administration for several years. Gutoc earned support from President Duterte’s detractors as a result of her criticism, and she was also one of the most popular Otso Diretso candidates on Twitter.
In 2019, Duterte avoided criticizing Gutoc out of respect for the alleged women’s rights activist. Gutoc, a Marawi civic activist, said she is pleased with Duterte’s move because it allows him to “concentrate” on more vital issues.
The restoration of Gutoc’s hometown of Marawi by the Duterte administration was previously regarded as a “failure” by Gutoc. Gutoc’s opinion about the President seems to have changed after he joined Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno’s party.
