Maureen Wroblewitz chooses to keep her love life private
Beauty queen-actress Maureen Wroblewitz talked about how difficult it is to keep her relationship with boyfriend singer JK Labajo private despite that both of them are public figures.
Maureen and JK are just among the celebrity couples in the Philippines who choose not to share many details about their relationships. Based on the article in PEP, during a recent interview, Maureen said that this has been a conscious effort on her part.
She shared that she would sometimes share a post on TikTok with JK. “It’s just something funny,” she said adding that she does not want to share too much. “Because it’s also me protecting our relationship, and our privacy. I know we’re both public figures, so it’s hard to keep those private,” the Asia’s Next Top Model Season 5 winner said.
She stressed that once a photo or a video was already posted online, this already belongs to the public. This is the reason why she is very careful of what she posts or says on social media.
Maureen Wroblewitz also shared that JK Labajo has been very active on social media also and this has been helping him. “And I can relate with the Filipinos, and I’m proud of whatever he’s doing right now. I can’t tell anything but I’m really, really proud of him,” she added.
Meanwhile, Maureen was Ms. Philippine Youth Ambassadress 2021 and this is because of her advocacy on the mental health of young people. She shared that it has been her goal to be an inspiration to the younger generation and be a role model to them.
“A role model that I was not lucky enough to have when I was growing up,” the beauty queen-actress said. She also aims to use her voice to create positive changes and differences in the lives of many people.
