Nacionalista Party personalities spotted at the campaign sortie Marcos Duterte tandem
Marcos Duterte Tandem – Prominent personalities from the Nacionalista Party were spotted during the campaign sortie of the UniTeam and this sparked assumption that they are joining the team of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte.
Previously, the former presidential son and the presidential daughter received support from the parties of three previous presidents of the Philippines. Mayor Sara took oath under the Lakas-CMD party prior to the filing of her certificate of candidacy for vice president. Former Presidents Fidel V. Ramos and Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo belong to the said party.
The party of former President Joseph Erap Estrada, Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino, is also supporting the tandem of BBM and Inday Sara. In a report from The Philippine Star on December 9, Senator Cynthia Villar, the chairperson of the Nacionalista Party, along with her son senatorial aspirant Mark Villar attended the campaign sortie of the Marcos Duterte tandem in Bacoor, Cavite. With this, this question surfaced: “Is the Nacionalista Party joining the UniTeam?”
Also present during the said event are Lakas-CMD chair emeritus Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, senatorial aspirants Harry Roque and Jinggoy Estrada.
Meanwhile, the Marcos Duterte tandem held a motorcade on Wednesday along Commonwealth and the local government unit of Quezon City was dismayed by this. Reportedly, the organizers of the motorcade did not coordinate with the LGU and so this caused heavy traffic that became inconvenient to many motorists.
The QC LGU pointed out that coordination is important in doing this kind of event for the safety of the participants especially since the country is still facing the risks brought by the pandemic. Here is a video showing the huge number of people who joined the motorcade.
