It is known to many showbiz fans that the Barretto sisters are quite controversial because of the feud that they have or had in the past. However, they are still among the well-loved showbiz personalities in the country.
In a recent Showbiz Update vlog of Ogie Diaz, his co-host Mama Loi asked him if who among the Barrettos is the “pinakamabait”, in his personal experience. The comedian-talent manager said that it would be Gretchen Barretto.
He said that even though Gretchen would not give him anything, his answer is still the same. It is because the longtime partner of business tycoon Tonyboy Cojuangco has been generous ever since.
Ogie revealed that even during the time when La Greta was endorsing a shampoo brand years ago, the former actress was already generous. He said that the actress sent him a box of shampoo bottles with an envelope under it that contained a certain amount of money.
This topic in the recent vlog of Ogie was due to the charitable efforts of Gretchen to send love boxes to showbiz personalities. However, the comedian-talent manager stressed that the former actress has no plan to enter politics as other people speculated because of her charity works.
Ogie also revealed that the eldest among the Barretto sisters was also generous to people working on the set Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala as they were able to work together in the said teleserye.
