Just recently, his comment on an article about Kapuso royalties Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera caught the attention of many netizens. In the said article of Bandera, the Primetime Kapuso King talked about the Miss Universe stint of his wife Marian Rivera as one of the members of the selection committee.
The caption that was posted on the official Facebook Page of Bandera said, “Dingdong Kay Marian Rivera: Ikaw ang Miss Universe ng buhay ko.” It was from the Instagram post of Dingdong. JK Labajo commented on this with, “Sir linya ko po yan.”
That statement of the singer came from the fact that he said that phrase to his girlfriend Miss Universe Philippines 2021 first runner-up Maureen Wroblewitz. “Congratulations Ms. Pangasinan!!! Ikaw pa rin ang Ms Universe ko,” JK captioned his post with this when Maureen wasn’t crowned as Miss Universe Philippines this year.
