Here Are The Most Important Reasons Why Communication Is A Process
PROCESS OF COMMUNICATION – When we communicate, we do a series of steps or actions in order to send or receive information.
Much like phones and computers do, humans also have a process of communicating. In fact, that’s what most of the technology is based on – simple communication.
When we talk, we need somebody to be listening on the other end. If there’s none, then we’d just be simply talking to ourselves and not communicating.
Here are some of the processes we do in order to communicate:
- We use language either physical or vocal to relay something. This could be a request, an emotion, a question, etc.
- A receiver (or the other person we’re talking to) fetches this information and conudcts their own reply to our initial message.
That’s basically what is happening when we are communicating. However, this is still the tip of the iceberg when it comes to communication.
Several components or elements are required when one is to successfully communicate. Here are the elements of communication:
- Actual Message (Sender)
- Encoding of the message
- (Receiver) Decoding of the message
