The online community has praised the working student who allegedly returned the P7,915 money left by the owner at the ATM machine in Bacoor.

The machine gave him P7,915 and a receipt after she put her card even she didn’t withdraw yet. As a result, she told her sister to look for the person who had withdrawn before them, but it had already vanished.

“Sabi ko sa ate ko, check niya baka andyan pa yung nauna sa aming magwithdraw, pero wala na,” she said.

Real spoke with the security and left his contact information in case the money was stolen. She considered leaving the money with the guard, but he opted to report the event and return the money to the bank branch in Imus.

Real was unconcerned about his tiredness because the money could be returned to the owner’s account. The owner’s balance is only P96, according to the receipt that came out of the machine, and this may be his last money,” Real wrote on Facebook.

Real never considered taking the money because he was a food service and hospitality management student in the mornings and a contact center agent in the evenings. She stated that she understands how difficult it is to make a living.

“Alam ko po kung gaano kahirap kumita ng pera. Tulad ko, working student po ako, ‘di ko pinupulot yung pera,” she said.

“For sure, yung may-ari ‘nun, madami ding pinagdaanan bago niya kitain yung pera na ‘yun. At ayokong gastusin yung perang pinaghirapan ng iba,” she added.
