What it feels like working again with her famous onscreen partner? Here’s what Bea Alonzo said
Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo shared what it felt like working again with fellow A-list star John Lloyd Cruz after a long time.
Bea and John Lloyd were able to create a popular tandem onscreen whose projects have became icons of the Philippine movie industry. Together, they were known as Popoy and Basha and until now, their onscreen partnership is still well-loved by many.
Now that they have their reunion movie project, fans are so much elated. In her recent Instagram post, Bea shared that working again with John Lloyd did not feel like work after all.
For her, it was like reconnecting with a friend who she knows for a long time now. “It didn’t even feel like a shoot; it felt like I was hanging out with an old friend, so easy and comforting,” Bea Alonzo shared.
She added that perhaps what she felt was because of the fact that she and John Lloyd Cruz have spent time together for many years. “Ganun siguro talaga kapag matagal mo nang nakasama, kahit lumipas pa ang panahon, may mga bagay talagang masarap balikan,” the actress said.
When John Lloyd shared a teaser of this new project on his Instagram account, he said that he also felt that it was not like a shooting. He said that he did not to act as for him it was natural. “Laking tuwa ko rin na makasama ulit si @beaalonzo on-screen,” the actor said. He added that he really enjoyed doing this project.
Bea and John Lloyd have signed a contract with the Kapuso network and their fans are expecting that they will do more projects together in the future.
