Female Kagawad Files Complaint Against Barangay Chief in Cagayan for Harassing Her
A female Barangay Kagawad (councilor) files a complaint against their Barangay Chief after allegedly harassing her inside their office in Cagayan.
After reportedly grabbing his councilor’s chest within their Santa office, a barangay chairman is now in a pickle. Ana, a resident of the province, recently. The 46-year-old victim went under the name Joy to conceal her identity.

The victim, a councilor from Barangay Parada Batu, went to the police station to report the suspect Oscar Bumaglag’s acts of lasciviousness and violation of Republic Act 11313 (Safe Spaces Act). The incident occurred at their office around 9:48 p.m., according to their police report.
She was allegedly preparing the summons documents when the suspect approached her and allegedly groped her chest. The victim stated that he had no connection to the suspect.
As a result, she was just doing her sworn job as a barangay councilor. The officials promised that the case will be filed as quickly as feasible.
Meanwhile, a female Tayabas City Hall employee has filed a complaint against the incumbent town councilor for allegedly harassing her. Authorities detained and charged an incumbent city councilor after receiving an allegation of sexual harassment and touching a female employee’s private area.
The victim was allegedly washing coffee mugs in the kitchen. According to the police report, the councilor approached him from behind. According to reports, the councilor hugged her and then placed his hand on her chest.
