NADINE LUSTRE – Kapamilya actress-singer Nadine Lustre reveals what she did to move on from the heartbreak of her past relationship.
Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre and James Reid have made a heartbreaking announcement at the start of 2020 – their split. In a statement that they have released, they expressed that they have decided to maintain their friendship. The split was accordingly a mutual decision between the two of them for their growth.
It was was heartbreaking not just for the fans but also for both of them. She admitted she was in limbo but how did she get through it? In a podcast guesting hosted by Saab Magalona and Jim Bacarro, she opened up about and shared some advice for those people who are also struggling in the same situation.
She narrated that for more than a year, she was in limbo and one thing she would want heartbroken people to do is to take their time. She can attest that wounds don’t heal easily but even though it took longer to get through the process of it, it will all be worth it once it’s all healed.
“You need to take a break. Enjoy your own company. Be with yourself muna for a while and learn how to do things on your own. I feel like because you’ve grown with another person, you guys are growing together, I feel like it’s high time that you grow on your own,” Lustre added.
After her split with James, she still has a little hope in her to work things out. She felt like she couldn’t get over him because the feelings were still there but when she started to focus on herself and get back in her element, she just realized one day that those she was sad about before were gone.
She said as per ABS-CBN report, “Sometimes, that happens. It took a while because I needed to realize that I needed to put myself first. But when I realized that, and when I decided to put myself first, it just went out the window.”
