The world champion boxer revealed his strategy for carrying out his six-month anti-corruption campaign, which will supposedly penalize officials. He plans to establish a ‘special court’ to prosecute corrupt officials, according to him.

He further stated that he hopes the corrupt officials would be unable to fit into the prison and that another prisoner will be created for them. According to the presidential contender, he plans to construct a “Mega Prison” where politicians convicted of corruption will be held.

Some netizens, on the other hand, reminded Pacquiao that the Sandiganbayan and the Office of the Ombudsman are in charge of prosecuting corrupt officials. One of Pacquiao’s campaign promises was to eliminate government corruption. President Rodrigo Duterte, a longtime ally of Pacquiao, was also present and stated that corruption exists in the current administration.
