Here are some of the things to know about Miss Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne, another Filipina beauty who scored a win for the country.
MAUREEN MONTAGNE – Meet crowned Miss Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne, a Pinay stunner who bagged the second title for the country.
28-year-old beauty queen Maureen Montagne is Miss Globe 2021. She is also a model and events host from Batangas. She was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2021 at the Araneta Coliseum on July 11 crowned Miss Globe 2021 in Albania on Friday (early Saturday morning in Manila). Her win comes a week after Cinderella Faye Obeñita won as Miss Intercontinental 2021.
In consecutive events, the country was able to bag its second crowns in both pageants. Maureen was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona. And outside the pageantry, she helps run a business called Sering Studios. The business involves the selling of imported luxury rugs and carpets.
Yoga, cooking, health and wellness, hiking, fashion, beauty, modeling, cats, and dancing are listed on her interests in her BBP profile and she advocates for HIV-AIDS awareness. She’s into fitness and her love for this made her snatch the Century Tuna SuperBod award in 2018. She looks up to three women and those are her mother, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, and actress and philanthropist Angelina Jolie.
She also endorses brands like Calvin Klein, World Balance, Silka, Ultherapy, Petron, and others. She is in a relationship with Dan Bradbury. Her journey in joining pageants started in 2015 where she competed in the Miss Arizona USA competition. She represented Tempe and won. Maureen was crowned Miss USA 2015 and competed in the said pageant and placed in the top 15.
In Miss Globe, she was asked “Do you think beauty is a merit and how can we enrich it with other values?”
Here is her winning answer:
“I think that true beauty comes from within. To be a Miss Globe is to be a beauty that inspires. What makes us beautiful is our smiles, it is what we do for our community, it is how we give back to others, and it is how we carry ourselves through lives.”
“I believe that everyone has beauty inside of them and I believe it is our duty to share it with the world and to give back and to truly inspire others.”
