Here’s what Andrea Torres shared about her new international movie
Kapuso actress Andrea Torres talked about her Argentinian leading man Marcelo Melingo in the international film Pasional.
This project is the second international movie of Andrea and they already started filming. In a chat interview, Inquirer entertainment columnist Dolly Anne Carvajal asked the Kapuso star about the details of this film.
Andrea is playing the character of a Filipina tango dancer and she has to learn this genre of dance. She already shot scenes featuring the landmark spots in Argentina and there will be scenes also that will be shot in Manila.
The actress also shared that she is enjoying every moment of filming as everyone is making her feel that it is her second home. “I love exploring Cordoba, our lengthy conversations, our happy set and learning how they film here. I am off to Buenos Aires and I’m excited to make so many more memories there,” Andrea Torres shared when asked about her memorable experience so far and she can’t pick one.
Andrea has a few lines in Spanish but most of the movie uses the English language. She also shared that the tango in Argentina has no specific choreography. “You wait for your partner to lead you. You have to have that connection so that you’ll move as one,” the actress shared.
When asked about her leading man, the Kapuso star said that it was easy for her to get along with Marcelo as he is a friendly person. “We were able to spend time together and we shared a lot of interesting conversations and laughs before filming,” she said.
Andrea Torres also described her leading man as sweet and generous. Before reaching Argentina, Marcelo sent her a voice message with the help of his English teacher. The Argentinian actor also gave a gift to Andrea the first time they met in person.
