Enchong Dee Reveals He Attempts to Take a Break from Showbiz But Halted
Actor Enchong Dee revealed that he attempted to take a break from showbiz several times but changes his mind due to some serious reasons.
The Kapamilya actor confessed that he, too, would like to take a break from Hollywood from time to time. Only when he recalls what his manager told him does he come to his senses.
“I think staying in the business was always the goal. The decision just followed. It’s an everyday decision that you have to make. The people in Star Magic knew na ilang beses na rin akong nag-attempt, ilang beses na akong nagsabi na okay na siguro, naka-ten years na ako,” he said.

According to the actor, he constantly remembers what his talent manager, Aunt Monch, said about artists not retiring. His talent manager stated that an actor is an actor for life and will return again and again.
“Babalik at babalik ka lang. Yes, magte-take time ka pero babalik at babalik ka,” Enchong told the online presscon of “Maalaala Mo Kaya ”for episodes this month.
“Naintindihan ko. While we were doing this episode, nare-remind ako kung gaano ko kamahal ‘yung pagpakita ng emosyon. Naalala ko kung gaano kasarap makatrabaho na sabay-sabay kayong napapagod,” he added.
Enchong stated that he considers himself fortunate to be a part of ABS-CBN, which has become a part of his life and a part of his family. He must treat his co-actors in the same manner that he does the wardrobe team, make-up artist, crew, and utility workers.
But for now, Enchong wants to rest first. “For the meantime, gusto ko po muna magpahinga kasi natataranta ang utak ko sa mga lock-in taping. Ngayon pa lang ako nasasanay. Mayroon akong inaasahang pelikula na gustung-gusto kong gawin. Supposedly, mag-start kami end of November and then matatapos siya before Christmas pero na-move siya,” he said.
