OCTA Research Warns Public vs Fake Pre-Election Survey in Pasay City
Independent research group OCTA has warned the public against the fake pre-election survey reportedly being conducted in Pasay City.
The OCTA disputed that a pre-election poll was performed in Pasay City from October 22 to 28. According to the research group, the survey that has been circulating on social media is a hoax.
“OCTA Research would like to inform the public it did not conduct any survey in Pasay City last Oct. 22-28, 2021. This survey, circulating in social media, is fake, and we advise the public and the media to stop sharing this material,” OCTA said in a statement.

The research group further warned that those who supplied fictitious data would be held accountable. The OCTA has encouraged the public to refrain from distributing this phony information.
“We continue to urge the public and the media to confirm with us any survey or statement purportedly from OCTA Research,” the group said.
“Any material publicized or shared to the public [that] does not come from our official web page and our verified social media accounts are not confirmed by OCTA as its undertaking is fake,” OCTA added.
Meanwhile, The OCTA Research has stated that it agrees with the notion that face shields should not be required in movie theaters. According to Guido David of the OCTA, attending movies will be less enjoyable if audience members are obliged to wear face shields. He also mentioned that abolishing the obligation to wear face shields in theaters was discussed in a forum.
