Cristy Fermin Shows Concerned on Jinkee Pacquiao’s Jewelries During Husband’s Campaign
Veteran entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin shows concern for Jinkee Pacquiao’s jewelries while being with her husband during campaign.
In an episode of Cristy Per Minute, Cristy Fermin discussed how many netizens were concerned about Manny Pacquiao’s wife, Jinkee Pacquiao, wearing jewels whenever he went around different parts of the Philippines to meet people. The columnist expressed her fear, echoing the sentiments of many netizens who expressed concern that they would become targets of society’s undesirable elements.
“Baka mapitas,” was the fear of many netizens, according to Nay Cristy. Rommel Chika started the discussion and said, “Napansin na naman yung mga suot niyang alahas, yung ano, yung studded niya, ang laki. Diamonds niya. At mga pulseras niya…”

He went on to say that “Baka mahablot” was cited by netizens, and Cristy confirmed that it was the same thing she was looking at. Cristy stressed that what they stated was to warn her, not to condemn or judge her.
“Hindi siya pinipintasan at pinupuna, dahil naiinggit sa kanya ang mga kababayan natin. Porma po ng pagmamalasakit iyon para makaiwas siya.Alam naman po natin ang ating buhay ngayon. Napakarami po ng nawalan ng trabaho. Laganap po ang taggutom…” she said.
Jinkee was advised by the veteran journalist not to accompany her husband during his public campaign wearing expensive jewelries and branded clothing. It’s not envy, but care, according to the columnist.
“Na sana raw po, si Ms. Jinkee Pacquiao, ay huwang nang sumasama sa kanyang asawa na alahadang-alahada siya at branded pa rin po ang mga suot.” “Hindi iyon inggit, kundi pagmamalasakit.” The veteran clumnist said.
