After noticing how many influential figures were giving “incredibly misleading information,” Doc Adam and his partner decided to make videos. However, Smith said he began receiving a lot of hate messages and even legal threats, which led to a discussion with his partner and the decision to leave YouTube.
“Dahil sa lahat nang naranasan ko…KC and I had some chat and we decided we are going to stop Youtube. After some discussions, we’ve decided to take a different direction in life,” Smith’s statement read.
Smith added that he and his partner are intending to marry next year and relocate to northern Australia to volunteer. Before concluding his remarks, Smith encouraged the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Department of Health (DOH) to hold firms responsible for promoting unproven products.
Smith also urged celebrities and politicians to cease endorsing corporations that make risky health claims. Finally, Smith promised to keep “talking about” Dr. Farrah Agustin-“hazardous Bunch’s counsel,” stating that she continues to promote her products despite FDA prohibition.
