Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez said that this “singer” will be her replacement and the one who will end her singing career.
Regine is one of the OPM icons who has a remarkable record when it comes to her career as a singer. Throughout the years, she was able to achieve the success that many newbie singers and recording artists are looking forward to reach also.
On the other hand, Regine previously admitted that her birit prowess is not that superb anymore compared to the time when she was younger. Nevertheless, she is still one of the icons and well-respected singers in the Philippines.
In her recent Instagram post, Regine Velasquez shared that she already found someone who could replace her in the music industry. The first part of the video showed that the Songbird was singing Chandelier while the next part showed the version of internet sensation Teacher Dan or Danieca Arreglado Goc-ong.
Regine let her social media followers choose between her and Teacher Dan. In the caption of her post, the Kapamilya singer admitted that she has found the “singer” who will replace her.
“Gusto ko lang ipaalam sa inyong lahat na nahanap ko na ang papalit sakin. Sya na talaga ang tatapos sakin,” Regine wrote. Then, the Songbird quipped, “Dapat nasa ASAP si ate HAYST so basic Happy Anniversary to me #regine30 #maunajudni.”
This post of the Songbird received a lot laugh comments from her fans and her fellow celebrities. Teacher Dan also commented with “B FOR BASIC,” as in the video she remarked that what she sang was just basic. The internet sensation is known for her covers of songs that has her own touch. She has been admired also for making many people laugh through the way she teaches music and songs in which she uses her own terminology.
