Cristy Fermin answered the statement of Kylie Padilla
Veteran showbiz reporter Cristy Fermin fired back at actress Kylie Padilla who slammed the claim of a certain “source” against her.
To recall, Cristy said that her source revealed that there was a time when Kylie ordered their “kasambahay” not to cook for Aljur Abrenica. The reason behind this was that allegedly Aljur was not the one spending for their household expenses.
The actress slammed the veteran columnist/reporter. Kylie said that Cristy should grow up and stop creating “stories”. “Mahiya naman kayo sa mga sarili nyo,” the actress said in her Twitter post.
Based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Cristy Fermin responded to the tweet of Kylie Padilla. The showbiz reporter said that no one can dictate what she should do as a columnist.
“Kylie, alam mo. Hindi mo pupwedeng manduhan ang mga manunulat kung ano ang kanilang sasabihin at kanilang susulatin. Katulad ko, ako’y isang kolumnista. Hindi mo ako pwedeng diktahan kung ano lang ang gusto mong mabasa mula sa columns ko,” Cristy said.
She added that if the actress wants to read good things only about her, she should establish her own publication company. Cristy stressed that she won’t allow anyone to intervene with her job. “Iisa lang ang puhunan namin, kung kayo ay kagandahan, kami ay kredibilidad. Hindi ko papanakaw sa ‘yo yun, Kylie Padilla!” she said.
The reporter/columnist also said that if Kylie does not want the public to react to what is happening in her life, she should keep her personal life private. Cristy Fermin also reminded the actress that the physical strength and beauty will eventually fade but she stressed the importance of “word of honor” will remain.
The showbiz reporter continues to stand by what her source revealed to her and that included the allegation that Kylie Padilla was always talking to someone on the phone and that it happened even during wee hours.
