BONGBONG MARCOS – Former Senator Bongbong Marcos said that he wants a “unifying leadership” if he won the 2022 elections.

According to Marcos, he has grown tired of political arguments between opposing parties. As such, he said that he wanted to create a new brand of leadership.

Based on an article from Cebu Daily News, Marcos stated:

I supposed that the people are looking for a different kind of politics because I hope to espouse a different kind of politics. I call it a unifying leadership and that is something that I always think is going to be important especially now

Marcos made the statement during his Cebu Visit on Friday, October 2022. Interestingly enough, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte was also spotted in Cebu wearing a “Sara All 2022” sweater. As such, a netizen made a connection that Sara may become Bongbong Marcos’ vice president in the 2022 elections.

Meanwhile, Marcos said that reviving the nation’s economy following the pandemic would hold greater weight than politics. Due to this, he said that setting aside political colors would be of utmost importance.

“Unifying in the sense that we have to work together no matter what our political color is because the crisis in front of us is much more important than politics, it’s the revival of our country”

Furthermore, Marcos said that he has been tirelessly developing plans for the revival of the Philippines’ economy. Additionally, he emphasized how Cebu City is a key factor in reviving the economy.
