Kylie Padilla ‘Pass divorce bill’ post, Pro-Divorce Netizens Show Support

Kylie Padilla want the divorce to be legalized in the Philippines

Actress Kylie Padilla shared a post saying “pass divorce bill” and this received support from pro-divorce netizens.

This post of Kylie is presumed to be her answer to the viral post of her estranged husband actor Aljur Abrenica who said that he was not the one who cheated first. To recall, the third party issue was raised after the breakup of Aljur and Kylie was confirmed.

The actress is now being accused to be in a relationship with actor JM de Guzman which she already denied months ago.

In the Philippines, divorce is not yet allowed. One of the reasons being cited for this is the “strong lobbies against divorce by supporters of the Catholic Church,” based on the article published on abc.net.au in October 2018.

It was also cited back then that the bill legalizing divorce in the country has remained stagnant because the senate’s focus was not on it. President Rodrigo Duterte has expressed that he is not in favor of this.

The Library of Congress published an article stating that on August 17, 2021, “a bill proposing the legalization of divorce in the Philippines had been approved by the Committee on Population and Family Relations of the House of Representatives.”

Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica got married in 2018. Apparently, the actress already wants to take legal action when it comes to ending her marriage. Her recent “#passdivorcebill” post garnered support from those who are pushing divorce to be legalized in the country. On the other hand,  there were also those who contradicted this post of the actress while some are encouraging her to speak also the “truth” about what really happened between her and Aljur Abrenica.

  1. MATTHEW 19:9 “And so I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, EXCEPT FOR SEXUAL IMMORALITY, AND marries another commits ADULTERY.
    What is adultery?
Adultery is voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a person who is not his or her spouse.
Divorce is not adultery because no sex is involved. It is REMARRYING, if the reason for divorce is not sexual immorality, that commits ADULTERY because sex is now involved after remarrying.
