Regine Velasquez shared that she had a karaoke bonding with her family

Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez had this funny reaction to her karaoke score after she sang her own song with her brother Jojo Velasquez.

Regine has popularized several songs that became an anthem for many Pinoys. Many of her songs are featured in the list of karaoke songs. Filipinos are also fond of singing her songs during sing-along sessions.

In one of the recent Instagram posts of the Songbird, she shared a video that was taken during her karaoke bonding with her family. She was singing the song Forever that she originally recorded with Concert King Martin Nievera.

However, even though that was already her song, she did not get a perfect score. It was also obvious in the video that her brother has a good voice and apparently, the talent in singing runs in their veins.

Regine Velasquez revealed that the score she and her brother got was 80. “Karaoke with my family. So kinanta ko yung SONG KO tapos ito lang eh!!!!!!ako nga kumanta nyan!!!!” the Songbird quipped in the caption of her post.

She jokingly said that she will talk to whoever created the karaoke system because there was a “daya”. Her fellow OPM icons reacted to this post.

Divine Diva Zsazsa Padilla said that Regine’s brother is also talented and that the score was “kaloka”. Martin Nievera greeted the Songbird’s late father Jerry. Jamie Rivera took notice of Regine’s mother while Melai Cantiveros commented this: “Wow si Doc [clap emoji] grabe.” Jed Madela posted laughing emojis as his reaction.
