Bato Shocks Netizens With Statement About BBM & His Father
BATO SHOCKS NETIZENS – Senator and Presidential aspirant Ronald “Bato” Delarosa took netizens by surprise following his statement regarding Bongbong Marcos and his father.
During an interview with ABS-CBN, Bato said Bongbong Marcos shouldn’t apologize for the deeds done by his father. Instead, he called on BBM to “acknowledge” the mistakes his father did.

Bato also said that Marcos should recognize how his father amassed billions worth of ill-gotten wealth. Afterward, he said that if he apologized for his father’s mistakes, he’d feel sorry for Marcos Jr.
Afterward, Bato was asked if he would apologize if he was placed in the position BBM was. As a response, Bato asked:
Kung ako, mag-apologize ako. Kung ako, para sa akin. But I don’t want to ascribe my own standards to Bongbong Marcos
Afterward, the Senator emphasized that the sins of the father shouldn’t be passed onto the son. But, Bato firmly stated that if his father had done something wrong, he’d have no problem apologizing. “Madali lang naman yang gawin“, he added.
Along with this, the Senator also said that if the money was in fact ill-gotten wealth, it should be returned to the people of the Philippines. However, he noted that the issue with Marcos had been going on since 1986.
“Gaano ba kalaki ang ill-gotten wealth yan? Ganun pala katagal. Akala ko tapos na yan. Napakatagal na panahon na”, stated the Senator.
