In the post that the GMA host has shared, she wrote the story and it came from his habit of wiping his nose but done in a manner that it’s already too much that caused inflammation. Primo is already a big boy and doing the wiping in his nose because of his sniffles alone is his way to becoming independent but they just never thought that this would happen.

His wiping was just too much and the scary part of it, according to their doctor, is that it can worsen where the infection will eventually go to the brain. If this happens, he had to be admitted. Iya shared, “our doc called it out as cellulitis and that if it worsened that he’d have to be admitted as the infection might approach the brain.”

Cellulitis is a condition where the affected skin appears to be swollen and red that is warm and painful when touched. It is a serious bacterial skin infection. The infection becomes life-threatening if it spreads in your lymph nodes and bloodstream. Iya shares that Primo uses to wipe his nose are dry facial tissue and most of the time, saline wipes.

The good thing about him now is that he is getting better and already recovering. He doesn’t need to be admitted any more.
