Kit Thompson shared his reaction to “yummy” comment he received because of his recent role
Actor Kit Thompson admitted that it is an ego booster for him to received comments like “yummy” or “masarap” because of the roles he portrays.
From being a housemate in the Pinoy Big Brother house, Kit has done various projects on TV and movies. The recent film that he did was with comedian Lassy Marquez and beauty queen-turned-actress Ariella Arida titled Sarap Mong Patayin.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PUSH, Kit Thompson was asked about the words of admiration he is receiving like he is “yummy”, especially because of his physique. His honest answer to this was this boosts his ego.
“Of course I can’t deny it’s an ego booster siyempre, ‘di ba? As a human being, you want to be the best version of yourself all the time. I put in the work. I work out. I watch my food,” the actor said.
He added that after all his hard work to maintain his fit body, it is just but natural to feel happy that other people would notice it. For him, it simply means that all the efforts that he is doing are working.
“What you’re doing, kung anong pinaghihirapan mo, gumagana siya. And that just gives you more reason na to stick to it, to do better, and to improve on yourself daily,” Kit Thompson said.
In the same interview, the actor also shared that challenging part of his character. He admitted that the provocative scenes required him to prepare physically and mentally because those things he did in the movie, he never imagined doing that in real life. In order for him realistic emotion, proper preparation was done.
