Dog in Baguio Stays in Landslide Area Waiting for 2 Playmates who Died from the Tragedy
The online community praises the dog who stays in the landslide area waiting for the 2 young playmates from a house covered with mud in Baguio City.
A dog in Baguio City has gone popular on social media, breaking the hearts of many netizens with his undying affection for his two playmates. A photo of a filthy dog waiting where the ground had buried the house of his two young playmates moved several netizens.

According to the report, the dog “Jerwin” was seen walking back and forth to the spot where the landslide occurred. Judy Rose Tulipas, 12, and Thalia Ocampo, 4, were cousins who died in the tragedy, which was triggered by heavy rain.
Alfredo Ocampo, their grandfather, died as well. Jerwin moved back and forth between the play and his two playmates were accidentally buried by the ground owing to a landslide, according to his mother.
“Yung [aso] pabalik-balik doon sa site kung saan yung sila natabunan. Pagkatapos makita yung anak ko, nalaman nila na yung binabalikan ng aso, nandoon yung anak ko,” Juvelyn Ocampo said.
Prior to the tragedy, the film even captured the cousin’s last pleasant moments. Juvelyn is now mourning the loss of her father and kid as a result of the typhoon’s devastation.
“Grabe po. Hindi ko maipaliwanag, hindi ko maisip na sa isang beses lang na ganun, nawalan ako ng pamilya, nawalan ako ng tatay, nawalan ako ng anak,” Juvelyn said.
The dog was kind to the two youngsters who perished, according to their relatives. As a result, they believe the dog is grieving over the deaths of his playmates.
