ROBREDO – Vice President Leni Robredo revealed the happenings before she decided to run for president in the Election 2022.

One of those who filed her candidacy for the highest position in the government is Vice President Leni Robredo. She is the nominee of the opposition coalition 1SAMBAYAN for president.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo said that what she was praying for did not happen. She realized that it is hard to unite when there is misalignment when it comes to beliefs. When opposition coalition 1SAMBAYAN nominated her, that was when she thought of running for the highest position in the government seriously.

The Vice President admitted acknowledged that the presidential race may be tough for her considering the lack of resources. She also expressed that some candidates have prepared for years already but she is grateful for the overwhelming support of the people when she announced her bid.

“Hindi talaga namin inaasahan… Ang dasal ko… klaro ang mensahe ng nasa taas kung ano ang dapat kong gawin,” the Vice President said based on the report.

Reportedly, the Vice President did not expect the overwhelming support of the people to the point of volunteers spending their own money to show their support and help her in her campaign. Many also expressed their support for her on social media including several Filipino celebrities.

Robredo hopes that the number of her supporters continue to increase and battle fake news. She stressed that it is tough to have no resources.
