Britney Spears Thanked #FreeBritney Movement Conservatorship Freedom
BRITNEY SPEARS – The “Princess of Pop” has thanked the #FreeBritney movement of her avid fans after being freed from her conservatorship.
Britney took Instagram to thank her fans for always supporting her and their “constant resilience” that helped her get out from the conservatorship of her father. The American singer is very grateful to the movement made to support her fight for her freedom.
“#FreeBritney movement … I have no words,” the pop star wrote an Instagram post on Tuesday. “Because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship … my life is now in that direction!!!!!” Britney wrote.

She posted the message after Jamie Spears, the singer’s father, was removed as conservator of her estate less than a week. According to her, she cried last night for two hours because she knows that her fans are the best.
“I cried last night for two hours cause my fans are the best and I know it. I feel your hearts and you feel mine… that much I know is true,” Britney said.
Since his daughter’s mental breakdown in 2008, Jamie Spears has been in control of her business affairs. In June, Britney, 39, ramped up her efforts to get out of the conservatorship, telling a Los Angeles court, “I want my life back.”
Jamie consented to remove his daughter’s conservatorship in August, and he was officially suspended as conservator in late September by a judge. After that, Britney just revealed her engagement to Sam Asghari, her four-year beau.
The #FreeBritney movement is a grassroots attempt by fans of the pop diva to raise awareness about the conservatorship’s inconsistencies. Popular documentaries about Britney’s 13-year court struggle have been produced this year, including The New York Times’ “Framing Britney Spears” and Netflix’s “Britney vs. Spears.”
