Jake Ejercito had this conversation with his daughter Ellie
Kapamilya actor Jake Ejercito shared an amusing conversation he recently had with his daughter Ellie and it was about first Filipino Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz.
Jake and Andi are co-parenting their daughter. There are times when Ellie would spent time with her mom in Siargao and she would also have her bonding moments with her dad when she spends time with him.
In one of the recent Twitter posts of Jake, he shared screenshots of his convo with Ellie. At the start of that particular exchange of messages between the father and his daughter, the latter excitedly shared that she, her mom Andi Eigenmann and her current partner Philmar Alipayo will go see Hidilyn Diaz
Jake Ejercito asked his daughter why they will see the Pinay weightlifter but the latter replied she doesn’t know. The actor then asked Ellie to ask for an autograph which received a “why” reply from the young girl.
“Because she’s the country’s only gold medalist!!!” Jake replied. Ellie proudly shared her selfie with Hidilyn Diaz and her father replied with “wow” gif. When the actor asked again if she got Hidilyn’s autograph, Ellie replied with “no”.

Several netizens were amused by this conversation between the popular father-and-daugher tandem.
Meanwhile, Jake Ejercito expressed in an interview that he is thankful that Andi Eigenmman is a good co-parenting partner. They had Ellie at a young age but they were able to manage to raise their daughter in a good condition.
The Kapamilya actor also shared that he already had the chance to meet Philmar, who is not the fiancé of Andi. Jake said that he and the surfer have a “decent and a civil relationship.”
