In Merida, Leyte, he and his companions may be seen in his YouTube vlog buying and packing canned items and rice for distribution to his needy neighbors. Casimero later distributed the gifts as a thank you for their support during his boxing career.

Although the amount given to the Cebu-based Leyte fighter during his successful title defense against Cuban Guillermo Rigondeaux on August 14 was not disclosed, boxing’s only eight-division champion and senator Manny Pacquiao said he handed Casimero a $5,000 bonus, based on the article of CDN.

For the past month, the 32-year-old Casimero (31-4,21KOs) has been a hot topic on social media for insulting and trash-talking WBC world bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire and WBA/IBF world bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue.

Casimero and Donaire recently reconciled in a virtual face-to-face interview, putting an end to their social media feud. Casimero will defend his championship against mandatory challenger Paul Butler (33-2,15KOs) of England, according to the WBO.
