Lovi Poe mentioned Susan Roces and Grace Poe in a recent interview
Actress-singer Lovi Poe expressed gratitude to veteran actress Susan Roces and Senator Grace Poe for all the support she gets from them.
Susan was the wife of the late Fernando Poe Jr., and Sen. Poe and Lovi are half-sisters. For several instances, the lawmaker has shown support for the showbiz career of her younger sister. She would promote the movies and projects of Lovi on her social media account.
Now that Lovi Poe is officially a Kapamilya, Sen. Grace Poe was one of the people who gave a message for her during a welcome special for her on ASAP Natin ‘To. The lawmaker said she knows that their father is proud of Lovi’s success.
Based on the article in Inquirer, during the inteview after the contract signing of the actress-singer with ABS-CBN, she was asked if she talked to Susan Roces about her decision to transfer to the Kapamilya network from GMA-7 where she spent 15 years of her showbiz career.
Lovi said that most of the time, she talked to her Ate Grace regarding the things in her career. “Actually, it’s really Ate Grace who I got to talk to about this. She’s been there for me ever since, especially for this whole thing,” she shared.
She added that the Senator is the one who is acting like a father figure for her. For the actress, tbe support that she gets from her older sister made her feel that she is not missing a father figure in her life.
I feel grateful to Ate Grace, and also to Tita Susan, for being so supportive and amazing this whole time,” Lovi Poe said.
Meanwhile, the actress-singer is set to do a series with A-list actor Piolo Pascual as her first major project as a Kapamilya.
