Lovi Poe talked about her upcoming Hollywood movie
New Kapamilya actress Lovi Poe revealed that she did not expect to get the role in the Hollywood film The Chelsea Cowboy.
Aside from the big revelation that she is now a Kapamilya after 15 years of working with the Kapuso network, Lovi also has a big announcement just recently. She is happy to be part of the upcoming film with Alex Pettyfer and Poppy Delevingne.
Based on the article in The Philippine Star, during a recent media conference after her official contract signing with ABS-CBN, Lovi revealed that a film producer reached out to her management. Then, she was asked to read a part and she thought it did not work out.
“It was as simple as that. I read for the part, forgot about it, and a few weeks after, it happened,” Lovi Poe said. The actress-singer said that she is preparing now for her project with the Hollywood stars.
“Aside from making sure I am fully aware of who I am playing, I will do my best na mabigyan ng hustisya because she’s an icon. Nagpre-prepare ako ng maayos,” the new Kapamilya actress said.
Lovi added that there is an extra preparation as she will be playing a character with a different accent but this is something that she is looking forward to. The actress also shared that she is thankful that her new management is very supportive of her international project.
For Lovi Poe, this is indeed a blessing in her life. She also believes that ABS-CBN will be behind her and other artists who are also pursuing different careers abroad.
Now that the former Kapuso actress is in the Kapamilya network, she is set to do her first teleserye with A-list actor Piolo Pascual.
