John Lloyd Cruz’s GMA Transfer Not Pushing Through Says Cristy Fermin

JOHN LLOYD CRUZ – Showbiz Reporter Cristy Fermin said the transfer of John Lloyd Cruz to GMA network will no longer push through.

Filipino actor John Lloyd Cruz is now under Maja Salvador’s talent management agency, Crown Artist Management (CAM). He is famous for his movie roles in “A Very Special Love,” “One More Chance,” “Now That I Have You,” and many more.

The 38-year-old actor has collaborated with several actresses in various movie and tv series including Angel Locsin, Toni Gonzaga, Bea Alonzo, and Sarah Geronimo. He also has several awards under his belt.

Last month, ABS-CBN broadcast journalist Karen Davila shared that John Lloyd Cruz has transferred to the GMA network. “JLC is now with GMA7,” she said.

But according to showbiz reporter Cristy Fermin, John Lloyd’s transfer to the Kapuso network will no longer push through. She disclosed it on her radio program, “Cristy Ferminute” with Rommel Chika.

Cristy Fermin also revealed that the alleged reason for the cancellation of John Lloyd Cruz’s network transfer. She said she heard talks about GMA executives and JLC’s camp failing to agree upon his talent fee.

“Sayang, saying na pagbalik! Ang init-init dahil totoo namang magaling siyang actor. At ang tao kapag may bitbit na talent kapag nawala, sa kanyang pagbabalik ay dalawang kamay pa po siyang tinatanggap ng publiko…”

“Bakit may kuwento kay John Lloyd na hindi nila pinagkasunduan ng GMA 7, e, TF o talent fee? Sayang naman ito,” she said.

Cristy Fermin said its pity because his fans were already eagerly waiting for his comeback. “Nasayang naman ang kanyang pagbabalik na inaabangan pa naman ng buong bayan dahil John Lloyd Cruz nga siya,” she said.

The program buddy of the columnist also shared his thoughts about John Lloyd not having exposure on social media. Fermin then said that the trend now is to be seen by producers.

“Sabi nila, hindi na uso ngayon ang over exposure. Ang nagkakaroon ng trabaho ngayon ay kung sino ang nakikita ng mga producers. Sayang, saying na saying si John Lloyd,” Fermin said.
